ELBA UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

The United Methodist Church employs both the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed as ancient affirmations of the essentials of the Christian faith. We typically recite one of these historic creeds as a worshipful act weekly. Click here to read the creeds. 

John Wesley adapted the Articles of Religion of the Church of England for the newly formed Methodist Episcopal Church in 1784, which is a predecessor of the now United Methodist Church. Click here to read the Articles of Religion.
